The rapid deterioration of the environment by ideologic neoliberalism and the global economy causes the disappearance of original landscapes and their increasing homogenization. The replicas of a given city in a geographical context different from the original is the ultimate expression of this after landscape condition. In recent decades the copied city phenomenon has proliferated as a result of multiple dynamics: the collapse of architecture in the form of a global style, economic relocation that exports dominant models, cumulative land management, tourism sublimation and simulation technologies or even military agendas asking accurate reproductions of war scenarios to test their destructive ability. The project After Landscape. Copied cities suggests a reflection on all these issues.
