PIMEC Comerç has launched a new training catalogue on social dialogue and support for local commerce with the goal of driving the digitalisation and sustainability of establishments. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Barcelona City Council, aims to give specific tools to micro, small and medium-sized businesses to tackle the sector’s current challenges.

The project includes a cycle of training and webinars on artificial intelligence, digital marketing, new technologies applied to retail and strategies for adapting to new consumer habits. It also promotes meetings on regulatory changes such as e-invoicing and clocking in and out, plus spaces for strategic reflection for commercial associations.

Among the specific goals of the programme that stand out are support for commerce at the growth stage, the strengthening of digital skills, the promotion of sustainable practices and the creation of a meeting and knowledge exchange space through the PIMEC Comerç digital platform.

The Barcelona Comerç programme, linked to this initiative, includes personalised advice for commercial associations with tools such as DAFO analysis, economic and financial studies and support with the production of strategic plans, the goal being to strengthen the city’s network of associations.

With this action, PIMEC Comerç reaffirms its commitment to the progress of local commerce and its key role in the economy and life of Barcelona’s neighbourhoods, placing the accent on a more innovative, efficient, and social responsible model.
