The ‘Amb cara i ulls’ campaign is back on the streets of Barcelona. With a whole new look, and starring traders from establishments that emerged as winners in the most recent edition of the Premi Comerç de Barcelona awards. The promotional campaign will be celebrated all over the city this summer, with the aim of positioning the Catalan capital as a city with a distinctive model of commerce, one that’s based on values such as high quality, professionalism, sustainability, and local produce.

The main aims of this initiative are to establish Barcelona as a city of quality local commerce thanks to the professionalism of its traders and restaurateurs, make the public more aware of excellent neighbourhood commerce – in terms of both products and service – and raise awareness among traders that their professionalism is key to making Barcelona a benchmark for quality local commerce.

And ‘local commerce’ includes shops, restaurants and markets with character and charm, well-known establishments where people know what they’ll find, shops that stock everything you need: quality, local products sold by expert shopkeepers with names and faces. This year, the campaign centres on the following businesses: 

• Panes creativos – winner of the Premi Comerç de Barcelona 2023 ‘Special Award’

• Remei Márquez López of the La Marina Traders’ Association, winner of the Premi Comerç de Barcelona 2023 ‘Albert González Award’ for work contributing to promotion, innovation and knowledge of commerce in the city.
• Mamá Heladera – Premi Comerç de Barcelona 2023 ‘Local Commerce Award’.
• Mariposa Negra Cocktail Bar – Premi Comerç de Barcelona 2023 ‘Innovative Commerce Award’.

Carns Cinta – Premi Comerç de Barcelona 2023 ‘Jordi Maymó Barcelona Markets Award’.
