Barcelona City Council

Barcelona City Council, through Barcelona Activa and in collaboration with Mercabarna, is promoting the fourth edition of the Innofood Award for the best business project in the sustainable food sector.  Part of the Innofood programme, which aims to promote the creation of innovative, sustainable businesses, the Innofood Award recognises the best projects in each edition.

The projects and companies accepted into the Innofood programme are eligible to take part in the project competition if they meet the following official requirements:

• To have actively taken part in the Innofood programme (at least 70% attendance).
• o have completed their business plan within the timescale envisaged by the programme.
• To present and explain the final business project before the jury.
• To not have started their activity more than one year before the start of the programme (12 February 2022).

The deadline for presenting the business plan, to be evaluated by the award's technical committee, is 9 July 2023, and it must be sent by email to the Entrepreneur Training Programme mailbox: programes.emprenedors@barcelonactiva.cat
