Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa SAU SPM are promoting the tenth edition of the PRE-ACCELERATION PROGRAMME. The goal of the Pre-Acceleration Programme is to support science and tech start-ups in evaluating their feasibility, and to recognise the best project from each edition.

Companies participating in the programme and meeting the following requisites will be candidates for the award:

1. To have actively participated in the Pre-acceleration Programme and completed four of the five established tutoring sessions.
2. To have completed their Business Plan and submitted it correctly by 24 January 2023.
3. To have handed in the Onepage document by 24 January 2023.

The award is endowed with €5,000 and the opportunity to spend six months in Barcelona Activa's MediaTIC incubator, with in-kind expenses of up to €3,000 including rental and module-refurbishing costs. To receive the award, projects must have legally constituted for-profit trading companies, and the founding partners must include the participants in the programme who must have provided at least 5% of the capital. 

Entries must be submitted between the day after the publication of the call in the Barcelona Province Official Bulletin (BOPB) and 9 pm on 31 January 2023, using the form provided on the Barcelona Activa website: [preacceleracio@barcelonactiva.cat]preacceleracio@barcelonactiva.cat.
