The purpose of these terms and conditions is to regulate the granting of subsidies, within the limits set in the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Markets’ budget, to Barcelona municipal market traders’ associations that have a large operator in a vacant situation during 2024 due to the closure of the previous owner in the corresponding municipal market.

Applicants and beneficiaries may be traders’ associations in municipal markets that during the 2024 financial year have a large operator in a vacant situation due to the closure of the last owner in the municipal market of which they form part.

The application period will run from the day the final approval of the terms and conditions is published in the Barcelona BOP until 15 November 2024. Applications submitted outside this period will be rejected.

Application forms can be downloaded from the Institut Municipal de Mercats de Barcelona website.

Applications should be addressed to the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Markets, and presented in electronic format only via the Barcelona City Council e-headquarters. To start the procedure, click on ‘generic application form (start the online procedure)’ and users must have an electronic certificate.
