Workshop and Paratext on the 'Itinerant Actions' Project
Workshop: Itinerant Actions: recording and broadcasting (11 am)
The workshop will confront the theme of the erosion and disintegration of the Earth’s systems and the collapse of both constructed structures and those in the natural environment. It will start by asking participants to present to the group an object and its context. This object can be something found or made that suggests or indicates an ageing process. Participants must be prepared to speak about this object and take part in a discussion and written exercise.
Paratext feat. Encura#3 (7pm)
At Paratext, Hangar residents present in various formats their own projects or aspects of their residency work. These sessions are open to the public and intended to promote its participation and interaction with the artists.
In this session, Luce Choules will present her research project Itinerant Actions: dades i diàlegs, developed during Hangar’s Encura#3 Residency. This will be followed by a round table discussion around the theme of arts practice in the landscape with the artist herself, the cultural producer Lala Thorpe, Marta Gracia from Hangar and other participating artists from the project including Patricia Dauder, Paula Bruna and David Ortiz Juan.
