The call for applications is open to visual artists of any nationality whose projects are in process or unpublished.

The endowment for the Art and Nature to Creation Grants is EIGHT THOUSAND euros (8.000 €), which amount will be shared between two grants of FOUR THOUSAND euros (4.000 €) each, taxes included, for both selected projects.

The amount corresponding to each grant of FOUR THOUSAND euros (4.000 €), taxes included, will be divided as follows: TWO THOUSAND euros (2.000 €), taxes included, for production of the work, and TWO THOUSAND euros (2.000 €), taxes included, to cover fees.

The Art and Nature to Creation Grants are unique and non-transferable. In the case of arts collectives, the division of the residency at the Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera and distribution of expenses must be decided among members of the group.

The Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera offers maintenance and accommodation in single rooms and a work space, for the sum of SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED euros (7.700 €), taxes included, divided into two amounts of THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY euros (3.850 €), taxes included, for each of the selected artists.

Obligations for grant recipients:

• Comply with the general and special regulations of the Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera and the Art Centre of La Panera.
• Submit to the Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera and, if appropriate, La Panera, at the end of the residency and on the date jointly agreed during the stay, the fully-developed and completed project.  
• Deliver to the Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera and La Panera a report on the work produced, including with it a short personal account of the experience.
• Deliver to the Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera and La Panera the financial accounts for the TWO THOUSAND euros (2.000 €), taxes included, reserved for production costs.
• Place on record the participation of both centres in any form of publication, whatever the format, produced in relation to the project originating from the awarded grant, with the incluson of corresponding logos preceded by the words “In collaboration with”.

The projects that win the Art and Nature to Creation Grants will be presented or displayed in Farrera within a year of the call for applications. The Art Centre of La Panera reserves the option of arranging an exhibition displaying them in the city of Lleida.

Participation in this call for applications for Art and Nature to Creation Grants presupposes acceptance of each and every one of the conditions.

The jury for the Art and Nature to Creation Grants will be made up of specialists in contemporary art, the specific composition of its members being announced publically at the appropriate time on the Lleida City Hall website (www.paeria.cat/cultura) with sufficient notice before the deadline for reception of original submissions.

Creative artists interested in the Art and Nature to Creation Grants must submit the following documents:

• Photocopy of DNI or passport.
• Current CV with personal details: full name, address, telephone number, email…
• Proyecto a desarrollar durante la estancia en el Centre d’Art i Natura de Farrera.
• Details of project to be developed during the residency at the Centre for Art and Nature in Farrera • Portfolio file with recent projects.
• Proposed timetable for the duration of the 2018 residency.

All documents must be submitted in a DIN A4 graphic file and in a pdf file no larger than 500 Mb. The documents can be accompanied with any relevant supplementary information.

Projects applying for the Art and Nature to Creation Grants must report to the Registration Desk of the Citizen Service Office (Registre de l’Oficina Municipal d’Atenció Ciutadana) at the Ajuntament de Lleida, Rambla Ferran, 32, 25007 Lleida, during office hours (please consult the website omac.paeria.cat).
