On 25 November, La Central del Circ inaugurated their mural installation ‘Paper Mullat’ [Wet Paper], which recreates the history of La Central del Circ at the Fòrum. You can visit it over the next few months at the facility. The intervention marks the beginning of La Central’s 2nd decade celebrations, which will continue until March 2023 and include various activities.

Paper Mullat is a mural intervention in black and white. A collage, news cuttings and events, a project inspired by the failure of social policies and the collective struggles that made the founding of La Central de Circ possible. A way to remember and to recreate history. A way of questioning the use of culture as a factor in sanitising what was once the Camp de la Bota, and making it invisible. A look at the circus from the perspective of false hopes created at other times.
