Nau Ivanow has announced the results of the Barcelona Crea – Fàbriques de Creació 2025 Grants, an initiative by the Xarxa de Fàbriques de Creació with the support of the Barcelona Institute of Culture, aimed at supporting artistic research projects in their development phase, prior to production.

This year, three projects have been selected in the categories of research, mediation, and one exclusive to companies in residence at the Nau. In the research category, the selected project is El cuerpo incendiario, una investigación artística desde la disidencia, by Rita Noutel and Karúi López, which reflects on dissident bodies as forms of resistance.

In mediation, the selected project is Cultural mediation in the Fàbriques de Creació of Barcelona, by Mailen Fonseca, which explores the relationship between these creative spaces and the local community.

Finally, La matèria del joc (The Matter of Play), by Sergio Camacho Rico, has been chosen as the resident project and will explore collective creativity through play and sonic improvisation.

The call has counted on the collaboration of Barby Boustier, especially in the research category, which was aimed at individuals with experiences of dissidence and historically excluded groups, as a form of affirmative action.

Each project will receive €6,000, workspace, and mentorship from July 2025 to February 2026. Nau Ivanow thanks all applicants for their participation and the high quality of the submitted proposals.
