The figure of ‘associate’ that La Escocesa has created recently is aimed at all those who would like to make use of the space but, unlike resident artists, do not have their own workshop there. In this way, users can have access to common spaces and services and be eligible for certain internal bursaries and grants open to associated individuals. Furthermore, associates of La Escocesa will be able to reserve a workshop on rotation for developing occasional projects.
