Up to 4 cultural projects located and promoted by FiC residents will be selected.

They will have a match-funding pool of 8.000 euros to complement the individual donations contributed to their crowdfunding campaigns.

The selected projects will carry out a crowdfunding campaign on the Goteo platform, receiving specialized attention from the team for the drafting and final design of the campaign as well as for its promotion and disclosure.

The formula is simple:

The selected projects must have a 4.000 euro budget, which is the minimum funding to obtain during the first Goteo round (40 days).

During this first round, once the project has obtained 2.000 euros from at least 50 different donors, the Goteo Foundation, in collaboration with the ICUB will contribute an additional amount of 2.000 euros to the project.

In the event that the project has not reached the necessary conditions to qualify for the ICUB prize during the first round but has exceeded the minimum established budget, it can continue to develop the crowdfunding campaign in its second round and continue to opt for match-funding when it meets the requirements (at least 50 financiers).

Project selection criteria:

-Degree of definition and precision of the projects.

-Feasibility of the project and its budget in order to develop a successful collective financing campaign.

-The project budget must fit with the minimum amount required by the call.

-Balance between the incubator projects and the artistic residents will be taken into account. 

How to submit your project

To submit your project to the Goteo platform you will have to go to Canal FIC & Goteo

 and click on “create a project” or “start session” if you already have a user account. Once you’re on the website you will find all necessary instructions to explain your initiative and take part in the call.

Calendar

The period to submit the proposal goes from January 27th to March 1st, 2020. The decision about selected projects will be publicly announced on the Goteo website on March 9th and will be communicated individually to all received projects. Consultancy will go from March 10th to 20th. Finally, the campaign will be published from March 30th to May 8th, at which point, if the minimum has been reached, the second round (May 9th to June 17th) will begin.
