Exchange grants between Marseilles and Barcelona
Call for applications for a residency exchange between Hangar and Triangle-Astèrides
Hangar, Barcelona’s artistic research and production centre, and Triangle-Astérides, the contemporary art centre in Marseilles (France), are opening a call for grant applications to their artistic residency exchange programme for research. The aim of this campaign is to offer a grant to two artists (one local artist from Marseilles and its metropolitan area and the other from Catalonia). Applicants must be adults working in the field of visual arts (all media accepted).
As part of this residency exchange, Hangar and Triangle-Astérides are collaborating and joining forces.
The residency for a resident artist in Catalonia will be backed and funded by Hangar, with the support of the Ramon Llull Institute and French Embassy Cultural Service/French Institute of Spain.
The resident artist from Marseilles and its metropolitan area will have the support and funding of Triangle-Astérides, backed by the French Ministry of Culture – DRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Ville de Marseille, the Southern Region and Département 13 and the French Embassy Cultural Service / French Institute of Spain, on this occasion.
The residencies will take place from Monday 8 January to Wednesday 28 February 2024, in Barcelona, and from Monday 29 January to Monday 8 April 2024 in Marseilles.
