The 14th edition of the IN RESiDENCE programme is part of a series of Culture and Education public programmes led by the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) and the Barcelona Education Consortium.

The programme promotes joint research, investigation and experimentation among artists, students, teachers and mediation teams.

This school year, the Fabra i Coats Creation Factory is joining the mediation teams, which are responsible for curating and coordinating every creation process. Also joining for the first time is the Joan Brossa Foundation's Centre of Free Art. In addition, the musician and composer Luis Tabuenca (in the photo), a resident at the factory, will be one of the participating artists. He will be running a project with students from the Institut Escola Antaviana. A few days ago, while inaugurating the “Feedback” exhibition, he presented his latest production at Fabra i Coats, called Dreamtime, an opera-performance for two sopranos, percussion, dance, electronic music and video.
