A special moment arrives for La Central del Circ. On May 31th and June 2nd they will hold the 1st Circus and Education Festival. During these two days, several samples may be shown in charge of the neighborhood's educational centers and artists who have been part of the Creadors en RESIDÈNCIA and Caixa d’Eines. 

The Festival will include the Comas i Solà Institute, with artist Ileana Ortega d'Ajpu Circo. On the other hand, Emilia Gutiérrez (Lucha Emilia) with the Barri Besòs Institute, a center also very close to La Central.

EN RESIENDÈNCIA, created in cooperation with the Association A Bao A Qu, they propose that artists conceive a work specifically intended to be performed together with a group of compulsory secondary education students (ESO). Throughout the whole course and within the collective hours, students participate in their conception and realization. Creators intervene in schools as authors, developing work of their own, and transmission occurs mainly through participation, dialogue and direct contact with the work and its creator. Reflection and analysis are also very important parts of the learning process. On the other hand, Caixa d'Eines is a project directed by Pla de Barris, with the collaboration of La Central del Circ, which uses the arts as a socio-educational tool and development tool for children and young people.
