The call for applications for Prototips is now open. This residency program is promoted by PAAC within the framework of the Visual Arts Promotion Plan, with the support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the four host museums: the Museum of Water and Textile in Manresa, the Terracotta Museum of Ceramics in La Bisbal, the Cork Museum of Palafrugell, and the Paper Mill Museum of Capellades. 

The program aims to create connections between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary creation and is part of the Generalitat de Catalunya’s Visual Arts Promotion Plan.

The residency lasts four months, from July to December 2025. The allocated funding is €6,000 for individual artists and €8,000 for collectives, along with a €2,000 production grant and a travel and meal allowance of €1,000 (for individual artists) or €2,000 (for collectives).

An informational session will take place on April 10 at 6:00 PM. The application deadline is May 18.
