Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació is opening the application period for the 2026 residency calls. There are two modalities: for artistic projects and for music projects. All residencies, in addition to the free provision of space and services, include mentoring, support, and the opportunity to participate in various promotional and dissemination activities, as well as in the Fabra Council —a governance and interaction space among residents. Resident artists have access to flexible spaces adapted to their activity, which they can apply for through different calls. They are also provided with support and tools to establish connections and relationships beyond the venue, helping them to further their careers.

Music Projects

The 2026 music projects call aims to support the development of specifically musical projects in two modalities: short-term (between 1 and 3 months) and long-term (minimum 1 year, maximum 2 years). The deadline for submitting projects is September 29, 2025. An information session will be held on September 17 at 6 pm at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació.

Both individuals and legal entities may apply. The minimum age to apply for these residencies is 18. Short-term residencies are aimed at artists and musical groups who need to research or experiment in musical or sound creation, or who are in advanced stages of their project and need to rehearse before live performances. This residency modality has a minimum duration of one month and a maximum of three months, and must be completed no later than December 31, 2026. Up to 3 projects will be selected in this modality.

Long-term residencies are intended for artists and musical groups with projects in research, experimentation, or creation stages, who wish to make Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació their working space for a minimum of one year, renewable for up to one additional year. Up to 12 projects will be selected in this modality.
