Artists of all nationalities can apply to work in a workshop at Hangar through the standard process.
Travel expenses, costs arising from staying in Barcelona and the cost of renting the workshop will be covered by the artist.

Fee
Workshop rental: €130.26/month (VAT included)
Deposit: 2 months’ rent, which will be returned at the end of the stay

Size
Individual workshop: 30 m²
Shared workshop for two artists: 60 m²

What’s included?
Work desks, electrical outlet, sink, Wi-Fi internet connection, showers and heating. Artists on long-stay residencies can use the following services free of charge: digital image and video editing laboratory, AV materials, small film set, film set (Ricson), multipurpose room, free participation in workshops, free access to all activities taking place at hangar, advice on production from Hangar’s team of professionals. As a result of the agreement between Hangar and Hamaca, Videoartists will have a videoart piece included in the distributor’s catalogue.

• Provision of all requested documentation and materials, in the correct format and within the recommended length
• Suitability of the personal materials submitted for the specific terms of the announcement, whether for a workshop or an exchange grant
• Clarity of the submitted written information and visual material, as well as the overall quality of the work of the artist and the specific project proposed
• Professional attitude of the artists when describing and defending their project, whether in writing or an interview
