On the occasion of the exhibition Africa 815: Paradise Lost, by Pilar Monsell (Cordoba, Spain, 1979), which inaugurates a series of exhibition projects specifically conceived for the Sala Miserachs, a dialogue between the filmmaker and Rogelio López Cuenca will be held. López Cuenca is an artist and researcher who, since the end of the 1990s, has worked on El paraíso es de los extraños [Paradise is for Strangers], a project that explores the construction of Arab-Islamic imagery in the West. The conversation will revolve around the film Africa 815, which will have been previously shown. The event will also launch the DVD of the film, produced by La Virreina Centre de la Imatge for the exhibition.
