Definition
The Spain-India Council Foundation is a private cultural entity, which started its activity in 2009. It receives support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and has a Board of Trustees that at the same time is a platform of the civil society and in which there is a representation from diverse administrations - central, autonomic and local.
Goals
- To foster greater bilateral exchange between both states, in the economic, commercial, and business fields, as well as other cultural, scientific, civic and educational aims, and for the protection of the environment.
Participation of Barcelona
The City Council of Barcelona is member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
