Barcelona has been and keeps being a perfect scene for literary works, a source of inspiration for writers who were born here and a welcoming place for writers from around the world who have described it in their books.

Felícia FUSTER
(Barcelona, 1921 - París, 2012)

Poet, translator and painter, she is the author of a relevant poetic work which she didn't reveal until her maturity. In 1983 she was finalist of the Carles Riba poetry award with her first title, Una cançó per a ningú and Trenta diàlegs inútils (1984). After this title, others followed: Aquelles cordes del vent (1987) and I encara (1987), for which se won the Vicent Andrés Estellés prize. She is also the author of the poem collections Versió original (1996), Sorra de temps absent (1998) and Postals no escrites (2001). She lived in París since 1951, where she exhibited her paintings.
