This is an invitation to celebrate and share an experience offered by the LAC. Designed as a live oracle, the goal was to develop an audiovisual choral story that reflects upon the developed community experience. Everyone who has been part of the Laboratori has had a different approach and a different journey, weaving together active learning, from personal and collective participation in the project to experimentation, self-learning, wisdom and trial and error.

At the beginning of the year, we launched the creative practice of “correspondence”. Through this, we proposed a personal exchange exercise for a critical contribution to the journey experienced in the Laboratori. All this led to the meeting “Dialogue and premonitions of community work. A live oracle”. That day’s record, along with the correspondence received, forms part of the materials for the audiovisual version that we are presenting today in the Virreina Palace.

We want to address the concerns that arise when we posit the need to share community learning processes. We know that it is not enough to explain them and that it is difficult to translate the value of experience into any language. We are interested in learning as knowledge based on personal experience. What can be truly revealing is to place ourselves in the moment or process that we believe has been valuable and, from there, share it and amplify its relevance.

From our inclination and desires, we are opening up fields of knowledge that, as an undeniable condition of our time, we feel only make sense in a context that builds community. At the LAC, we consider ourselves to be part of an extensive community made up of many links. From this collaboration, we question ourselves with the video Premonitions of community work. A live oracle, that we would now like to share beyond all of us, fostering broader learning and reflection.
