There are collaborations between museums that are like scores with four hands. From September 2019, visitors of Museu de la Música de Barcelona will be able to enjoy a thematic showcase dedicated to the presentation of a cycle of temporary exhibitions, from the musical instrument funds of Fundación La Fontana. This initiative is the latest materialization of a long and fruitful collaboration between both institutions that has allowed progress in the knowledge of the collections themselves and propose unique and nuanced content to their respective audiences.

In this session the main milestones of this unique union between the public sphere (MDMB) and the private sphere (Fundación La Fontana) will be reviewed.
