Approval for the urban plan for the concrete structure in Vall d’Hebron

The Full Council has unanimously approved the regulation of the municipal site located at Passeig Vall d’Hebron, 138-160, in the district of Horta-Guinardó. The plan includes the construction of a new outpatient unit for the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron and the new headquarters of the Barcelona Public Health Agency.

Outpatient activity at the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron will be expanded with a new ten-floor building housing 250 outpatient consultation rooms, 100 day hospital places, an outpatient pharmacy, an area for radiodiagnostic facilities, a rehabilitation area and support spaces.

The new headquarters for the Barcelona Public Health Agency will also be built on the site at Passeig Vall d’Hebron, 138-160. The building will have 12,500 square metres of floor space, with eight floors, a laboratory and a semi-basement.
