Catalogue of the Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona exhibition '1909: fotografia, ciutat i conflicte' (2009). A book containing a selection of 80 photographs from the exhibition that presents a political reading of Barcelona's photographic output in the early 20th century, and highlights the relationship between conservative discourse, capitalised by the noucentista project, and photographic output and how this relationship will result in a coordinated, political vision of Barcelona society.
