Catalogue of the Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona exhibition 'Entre la crònica i l’imaginari. Fotografies de la Segona República' (2006). A compilation of photographs which, thanks to their language, becomes an exceptional vehicle for disseminating and consolidating the image of the republican regime and that show how these documents are a significant historical source, while the study of their language opens new doors to the interpretation and enables the construction of new discourses on the role and use of photography.
