Antoni Capella Contra (1934-2005) was a professional photographer located between Barcelona and Calafell. He is the author of numerous photographs of study, emblematic buildings and relevant social events that took place in Barcelona. He also developed part of his activity as a photographer at Radio Barcelona, in clubs Martini Terrace, or Arca de Noé . The photographs of the exhibition are for the years 1955-1980. The family of Antonio Capella donated to Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona his photographic legacy, some 260,000 photographs, in 2010.
