The Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona presents the exhibition “Family, friends and photography. The home photographic space” which values the significant system of the family photography thought the time, acknowledging the symbolic value in its original place and the documental one into the archive space.Prior to the mobile devices, all homes had photographs. Gathered in order on albums, over the fournitures, on the walls or in boxes, contributed to harden the family ties because the people represented are the same who are part of it, usually along with family members or friends that share activities or affinity groups. The exhibition also shows how some professional photographers have worked in the modality, for familiar training or in a creative context.
