Barcelona Llibres

Barcelona. Retrat d'una ciutat, co-published with La Fábrica, ​​is a visual tribute to the city that spans more than a century of history through photography. It is a unique document on the cultural, architectural, and social evolution of the city. This exploration of Barcelona’s history and soul features images by renowned international photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Gerda Taro, Kati Horna, Dora Maar, Margaret Michaelis-Sachs, and Helmut Newton, alongside those of Barcelona-based photographers like Francesc Català-Roca, Colita, Ramon Masats, and Leopoldo Pomés, among others.

The event will feature the participation of César Martínez-Useros, director of the publishing house La Fábrica; Ricardo Feriche, art director, curator, photographer, and editor of the book; Pilar Aymerich, photographer; and Txema Salvans, photographer.
