Barcelona. La meva ciutat

Author/s
Marina Luz García (Author) and Neus Caamaño (Illustrator)

How big is our city? How many boys and girls live in it? Where do we come from? How many houses, green spaces, places for playing or doing sport do we have? Who’s responsible for taking care of it? You’ll find answers to these and lots of other questions together with Laia, a very curious 11-year-old girl who wants to know more about Barcelona and its neighbourhoods and has no hesitation in asking her family, friends or members of the public.

This book-album brings together the main statistics on Barcelona, through graphics and illustrations, in a visual and attractive format so they can easily be grasped by children aged 10 to 12. It also invites boys and girls to discover the city and their neighbourhoods, and also consider how best to improve and participate in it.

The book comes with a downloadable notebook so children can carry out their own investigations and look for more data on their neighbourhood.
