Behind La Plaça dels Treballadors de Harry Walker, in the Prosperitat neighbourhood of Barcelona, lies the story of the local workers’ fight for their rights.
The factory that stood here until the end of the 1970s was the scene of one of the biggest strikes in the city under the dictatorship. This book also looks at the neighbourhood’s struggle for investment in facilities for the area, and pays homage to the men and women who made it possible that this neighbourhood today has public services.
