Dozens of activities take place throughout Catalan Book Week. They are free to attend, and no prior booking is required. There is an exception: the Literary Itineraries, most of which require a fee (four are free, which you can find here).

A registration limit must be established to ensure a comfortable experience for participants. Therefore, if you want to join any of them, you must sign up beforehand. Each itinerary costs €9 per person — €7 if payment is made before 30 August. Additionally, some discounts are available for members of various organisations. In 2024, there will be up to 30 literary walks based on recently published books. The authors themselves will be the guides. Of the 30 routes, 20 are in the city of Barcelona, and the other 10 are in various locations throughout Catalonia.

Online registrations will remain open until two days before each itinerary. After this date, tickets can be purchased at the meeting point of the itinerary, provided places are available.

Itineraries Based on Our Books

On 25 September, there will be an itinerary inspired by the book Barcelona esgrafiada,[The Sgraffito Art of Barcelona], a route through the streets of Ciutat Vella and Eixample, admiring figures, floral motifs, garlands, and friezes on the façades of these two districts.

On 28 September, the itineraryDescobrint la flora i la fauna del Parc de la Ciutadella a Barcelona, [Discovering the Flora and Fauna of Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona], based on the Guia de flora urbana de Barcelona [Guide to Urban Flora of Barcelona] and the Guia de fauna urbana de Barcelona, [Guide to Urban Fauna of Barcelona], with the authors themselves serving as the guides: Sergi García Rodríguez, Pere Barnola and Josep M. Panareda. The guides are a co-publication of Cossetània Publishing and the Barcelona City Council.
