Barcelona City Council

The Barcelona City Council is accepting nominations for the Barcelona Retail Prizes, designed to recognise and promote initiatives that contribute to the growth of an innovative local retail model and those that contribute to boosting and improving retail entrepreneurship in the city’s municipal markets.

To this end, the 25^th edition of the Barcelona Retail Prizes seeks to recognise initiatives, contributions, business establishments and municipal market traders’ associations that have positively impacted the retail sector. There are five prize categories:

1. Prize for the best business model

2. Prize for the best local shop

3. Prize for the best iconic shop

4. Albert González Prize for a contribution to the promotion, innovation and appreciation of city retail

5. Jordi Maymó Barcelona Markets Prize, with two subcategories:

- Prize for the Best Individual Initiative

- Prize for the Best Collective Initiative

Each participant must submit their nomination through the form available on the Comerç website.
