The subsidies will be aimed at projects conceived within the framework of the Strategy Against the Feminisation of Poverty and Precariousness 2016-2024 (hereinafter, the EFPP), taking into account its specific characteristics. The projects must promote activities of public or social interest aimed at the reduction of female poverty and precariousness in the city of Barcelona in the short, medium and long term, ​​in accordance with the goals set by the Directorate for Gender Services and Time Policies of the Municipal Manager’s Office, including the EFPP and the specific contents established in the subsidy call.

Subsides may be awarded to natural persons or legal persons in any of the following forms who fulfil the goals and requirements of the subsidy scheme and fall under these terms and conditions:

  • Non-profit organisations.
  • Groups of individuals with projects for the reduction of female poverty and precariousness that have not been formalised.

On 24 November, the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona published the change to the regulating terms and conditions and the subsidy call within the framework of the Strategy Against the Feminisation of Poverty and Precariousness (2016-2024) for 2022, with the application period running from 25 November to 24 December 2021, first and last dates included.

Persons covered by Article 14 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure for public administrations, are required to fill in and submit the application through the City Council's e-headquarters [Es], following the instructions set out on this site. All other persons who are not required to engage with the administration electronically should also preferably use this same means. In the exceptional case of presenting an application in person, without prejudice to article 16 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure for public administrations, these documents can be presented at any offices forming part of the general registry indicated in document appendix 1, with prior appointment with Barcelona City Council [Es].
