A public call has now been launched for applications for subsidies, which will be awarded on a non-competitive basis, aimed at eligible entities as part of Barcelona City Council’s 2024 “Summer Holidays Campaign”, to promote the inclusion of children with disabilities and intensive support needs from the city of Barcelona.

The purpose of the subsidy is to promote and guarantee improvements in the inclusion of children with disabilities and intensive support needs in the series of activities offered as part of the 2024 “Summer Holidays Campaign”.

Entities eligible to apply for the subsidies are those that offer summer activities in accordance with the terms and conditions governing the awarding of subsidies to children and adolescents between 1 and 17 years of age from the city of Barcelona, to carry out activities as part of the “Summer Holidays Campaign”; and the procedure for authorising entities to take part in managing the subsidies for these activities, published in the BOPB on 2 January 2024; and where children with disabilities and intensive support needs have participated in their activities. An express administrative decision is required to qualify as a recipient entity.

The period for submitting the application form and supporting evidence is from 1 July 2024 to 19 September 2024.

The application and other procedures associated with the award and justification procedure must be carried out exclusively by electronic means.
