Things I can do wherever I am is a performative workshop by Xavier Manubens. He offers a journey through different spatialities and environments without leaving the work room. The practice encompasses the construction of visual and sound landscapes through the body, the voice and external objects. Environments and situations will be produced alongside a joint envisioning, through the practice of dance and installation, of the nature of the world we inhabit, the futures we imagine and which family and domestic context we want to construct.

Xavier Manubens is a stage artist and choreographer who develops his own research pieces and collaborates with other artists. He works at the junction between performative and plastic arts, as well as imparting dance, movement and performance classes in Barcelona’s state schools and civic centres.
