Sónar+D, an international congress focusing on creativity as an element for changing the present and imagining new futures, will be taking place from 13 to 16 June as part of Sónar Barcelona 2018. This meeting of different individuals and communities brings together in Barcelona creative minds, from whatever discipline, to project and inspire new realities.

Projects such as the one by collective TOPLAP Barcelona, which uses live coding as a tool for visual and aural creation, and Befaco, based around the application and diffusion of so-called Do It Yourself culture to music technologies, will feature at MarketLab, the space designed for the presentation of projects and initiatives. Also participating are BeAnotherLab and TMTMTM, all four residents or collaborators at Hangar. From La Escocesa, as well, artist Guillermo Moreno Mirallas will bring his own pieces which circulate and function in and between sound and light experimentation languages.

On Wednesday 13^th, the projects of both Arts Factories will be present at the Ajuntament de Barcelona’s MarketLab stand, situated at Pavilion 4 of the Fira de Barcelona’s Palau de Congressos (Congress Centre) in Montjuïc.
