En Residència (In Residence) is a programme that, since 2009, has introduced contemporary creation to Barcelona’s public centres of secondary education through projects undertaken by a creator or collective of creators with the participation of students. As a result, pupils at the institute make contact and collaborate in the conception and creative process of an art work.

This year, En Residència welcomes a total of 24 residencies with artists from various disciplines. In addition, various events are programmed to commemorate the 10th anniversary such as an exhibition, conferences and a publication that will bring together the experiences of the 77 residencies developed over the previous 9 seasons.

The residencies are curated and coordinated by fourteen team practising various forms of intervention, among which are the following Art Factories: El Graner, Sala Beckett / Obrador Internacional de Dramatúrgia (International Theatre Workshop), La Central del Circ and La Caldera (the latter included for the first time this season).
