PEN Català, the platform for the international promotion of literature by writers from the Catalan-speaking lands, in collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull and with the support of the European Union, is inviting applications for a literary residency at the Faberllull Olot (Catalonia).

The call is aimed at people under the age of 35 who write in Catalan, Dutch, Galician, Hungarian or Serbo-Croat. The call seeks writing which offers a critical view of society, which contemplates collective future scenarios and reflects on and experiments with issues such as climate change, gender, technology, migration, democracy and freedom of expression.

The residency offers a workspace, exchanges with the group of residents and the chance to engage with professionals in this sector.
