Hammer Bakker in twelve looks (Denmark)
Galleri Hammer is seeking 8 artists interested in participating in an artistic project to honour the history of Hammer Bakker (Denmark), a place where the Vikings lived, which has experienced many environmental changes and where there was an important artists’ colony in the early 20th century. Galleri Hammer will be inviting a further four artists to complete the work.
The calls proposes that each selected artist print their creative project on a totem, taking their inspiration from this location in the north of Denmark, during a 12-day stay.
Galleri Hammer will give each of the selected participants a subsidy of €200 towards travel costs, €7 per day for meals, plus accommodation and all the tools and materials required.
