Residencies at FABER (Olot)
Faber is a residency programme open to a wide range of disciplines related to Arts, Sciences and Humanities. Stays are therefore available to writers, translators, scriptwriters, playwrights, actors, musicians, film-makers, photographers, artists, critics, historians, philosophers, sociologists, anthropologists, journalists, scientists, researchers, biologists, ecologists, economists, lawyers and all types of professionals (or groups, institutions, companies, associations or entities) working in any field or from anywhere in the world:
a) Who are working on a project related to one or more of the thematic stays.
b) Who wish to come and work on their projects for a few days outside the dates scheduled for thematic stays. In other words, to complete an individual residency.

The profile of residents we are looking for comprises individuals who require a workspace and a period of time for productive work, individuals who want to share their project with other residents and create a friendly and supportive community.

Faber offers
Faber offers a chance to work over a short period of time (1-3 weeks) on an artist’s personal project and, in the case of ‘thematic stays’, an opportunity to exchange experiences with the other residents.
Optimum work conditions and environment are guaranteed:
a) Spacious rooms with Wi-Fi access; fully conditioned for comfortable work.
b) Communal areas inside and outside the hotel where residents can share ideas and experiences with each other, the general public and institutions.
c) A shared space between residents and the Faber team. This space includes:
- Two computers (one Mac and one PC) and two printers.
- Fitted kitchen. There is also a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
- Living room and dining room.
- Four electric bicycles.
d) Accommodation and half board (breakfast and evening meal).
