decidim.barcelona
Barcelona's digital and democratic platform for citizen participation aims to give citizens a voice so that they can decide on the future of their environment. It is a space that hybridises the digital and physical aspects of participatory processes to debate, contrast and gather proposals. The tool is developed with free open source software, so that it can be reused, improved and audited.
decidim.barcelona aims to serve as a portal and infrastructure both for the participation processes promoted by the City Council (PAM, development of regulations, urban planning, participatory budgets, etc.), and for those launched by citizens and associations (popular initiatives, community development, etc.). The platform, developed with free software using open, agile and participatory methodologies, offers tools for collective decision making, communication and campaigns, convening of face-to-face meetings (assemblies, meetings), collaborative writing of texts and other digital communication and collaboration functionalities to improve the democratic quality of the City Council and other entities in the city.
