The MNAC presents the exhibition Zurbarán (super) Natural, bringing together for the first time in the Spanish state the three versions of Francisco de Zurbarán’s painting Saint Francis of Assisi according to Pope Nicholas V's Vision. The display was possible thanks to the collaboration of the Musée des Beaux Arts de Lyon, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the MNAC. The work preserved by the MNAC has undergone a thorough restoration process that has allowed it to recover its original appearance and bring to light details hidden by the passage of time.

This is also the first time that visitors can see together in Barcelona the twin versions of Still Life with Vessels.

The exhibition also shows the influence that Zurbarán’s work has had on contemporary artists such as Toni Catany, Josep Guinovart, Aurèlia Muñoz, Antoni Tàpies and others. In addition, Antoni Llena and Eulàlia Valldosera have created works especially for Zurbarán (super) Natural.
