Funeral services. Progress continues to be made on creating a public funeral service which has an impact on the sector and changes the collective perception that death is a pricey business.
Work. Barcelona City Council, the PIMEC and the UGT and CCOO trade unions in Catalonia all stress the importance of public tender processes in improving social and labour conditions.
Memory. The plaque unveiled in the Horta-Guinardó district is the tenth of its kind to be put up since October 2015, remembering the residents of Barcelona’s shantytown neighbourhoods.
