Jaume Copons

Jaume Copons, born in Barcelona in 1966, is the author of a solid body of literary work for very young audiences. 

He has written novels, short stories, songs and television scripts. His experience as a scriptwriter for the Spanish version of Sesame Street at the end of the last century was pivotal in leading him to focus on writing for children, especially new readers. 

As a storyteller, Copons crafts witty, imaginative and relatable tales that naturally resonate with readers thanks to his fresh and direct style, although he never shies away from tackling difficult topics or resorting to intelligent humour.  

For the past ten years, he and Liliana Fortuny have teamed up to create the graphic novels series Agus y los monstruos, Bitmax&Co and Rob&Ot.
