Lluís Nacenta

Lluís Nacenta is a curator, writer, musician and researcher at the crossroads of music, art, technology and science. He holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics, an advanced degree in piano, a master’s degree in comparative literature, art and thought, and a PhD in humanities, with a thesis on musical repetition. 

From 2015 to 2017, he was the head of post-graduate studies at EINA University School of Art and Design of Barcelona, and from 2018 to 2021, he was the director of the Hangar Visual Arts Production and Research Centre. He has curated several exhibitions, including ‘Artificial Intelligence’ at the CCCB. 

His recently published début essay Càlcul de metàfores [Calculation of Metaphors] (La Magrana, Debate, 2025) offers a series of reflections on the intersection between science and the humanities in today’s world.
