Txell Feixas

Txell Feixas Torras, born in Mediona in 1979, is a journalist. She has worked in Beirut as a Middle East correspondent for the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation. She covered the war against the Islamic State in Iraq, the fall of the Caliphate from Rojava and the Great March of Return in Gaza, among other crucial events in the area.

Before that, she followed the kidnapping of the Barcelona Acció Solidària volunteers in Mauritania, for which Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility, and the humanitarian crisis at the Ceuta border fence with Morocco, among other various conflicts. She has published Dones valentes and Aliades with Ara Llibres.
