Science and market closer than ever.

In late 2021, Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa teamed up with the main Catalan universities (UB, UAB, UPC, UPF and UOC) to launch Barcelona Deep Tech Node, a city initiative created to promote and support Deep Tech start-ups and spin-offs, providing them with access to the market.

 Objectives:

  • Facilitating access to funding
  • Shortening time to market
  • Complementing entrepreneurial teams with business profiles
  • Creating meeting points for the ecosystem to identify business opportunities.
