Fab Labs are places for learning, working together on various projects and being part of the city's social development.
They are a public service sharing technology and the science of digital production. Anyone can make use of their spaces, tools and public resources as well as propose projects to improve their immediate surroundings.
Fab Labs are open to everyone and the “price” for using them is known as “reciprocity”, a system of social compensation in which people offer their time, talents, involvement and participation for the benefit of the community in exchange for the support received in the lab . All without any money changing hands.
