Basic ICT Training
Barcelona Activa offers in-person and online technological training activities.
Activities are also held at the Municipal Libraries and online, with the aim of reaching every district in the city, in addition to the Barcelona Activa Technology Park. The project has so far extended to 20 libraries located in all districts.
The catalogue of activities ranges from the most basic skills required in almost any working environment such as the use of spreadsheets, word processors and storage-management techniques to tools for daily task (instant messaging, online procedures, navigation, social media) . In addition, digital skills acquisition activities at the Canòdrom [former Dog Track] are carried out with free software, an example of the project’s commitment to more open technology.
